At the end of 2001, we had purchased a house with Linda's help. If you remember, the economy around that time was not doing very well, following the burst of the dot com buttle and 9/11. As we were a bit worried about the wisdom of our decision, we asked Linda if she thought that house could be sold easily if push came to shove. Her reply was a confident "Yes". I have to admit that I took her self-assuredness with a grain of salt. Fast forward 9 years later; we decided to make a professional and geographic move. We had kept Linda's answer in mind. So, we contacted her, to sell that same house she had helped us purchase. This was in the spring-summer of 2010, and needless to say, the economy and the real estate maarket in particular were in a much worse state than in 2001. An important detail; this was after the $8000 home-buyer tax credit had ended. I moved to start my new job in Dallas and we left Linda in charge of all the legwork pertaining to the sale, including freshening up the house. To say that Linda delivered, is an understatement. Less than 4 weeks after the house was put up for sale, we got our first offer. That one fell through because it was contingent on the prospective buyer selling their own house, which didn't happen. Multiple potential buyers expressed a strong interest in the house. After barely about 9 to 10 weeks on the market, our house was sold. We mailed the last documents pertaining to the sale closure right before the week-end of Thanksgiving 2010. Having benefited from them myself, I highly recommend Linda Roster White's services."
